Before a dinner in Chile the other day, the president's lead Secret Service agent was restrained by a Chilean security detail as he tried to follow the man he is supposed to protect into the event. A tempest in the Ukraine The possibility of a peaceful solution to the electoral crisis in Ukraine was created on Thursday, when the country's Supreme Court effectively blocked the inauguration of the president-designate, Viktor Yanukovych. The court's decision has created a precedent for the use of legal not violent means to ease the crisis created by the fraudulent election that produced Yanukovych's victory.
