When I Was 30; Vivian King; From Battle Creek to Brew City
Standing in front of a camera wasn't always in the cards for TV reporter-turned-public affairs director Vivian King. Originally from St. Louis, King grew up in a house where education was paramount. Doing well in school and attending college were non-negotiable. She even spent some summers on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia, participating in precollege programs.
