The Crystal Palace-style greenhouse may be gone, but the scent of flowers is back again. Locker's Florist, which fluttered from one side of North Ave. to another, has reopened permanently at its old location at 9125 W. North Ave. The shop's look is post-modern sleek, with a nod toward tradition. (Two original brass plaques from the old store hang on the walls.) Locker's still maintains full floral service, but the store looks to the future, not the past.
