Howard A. Heinen Jr., who is accused of starting his high-speed flight to avoid a trip to the Waukesha County Mental Health Center, was booked into the county jail after a court commissioner rejected a defense attorney's request that Heinen be permitted to undergo mental health treatment in lieu of a trip to the lockup while his criminal case is pending.
