An execution-style triple homicide that killed a 51-year-old woman and her two adult sons sent a 16-year-old boy to prison for 42 years Friday.

Sammie Smith, just 15 when Betty Jones, Christopher B. Durant and Dexter P. Durant were slain in a central city house Oct. 10, 2006, is the first person sent to prison for the killings. An alleged accomplice is scheduled to go to trial in early October, and authorities say they are still pursuing other leads in the case.
