The Milwaukee-area labor market showed little dynamism in December when the four-county region added a net 1,000 jobs, or 0.1%, to 848,300 from November.

Compared with December 2005, the region added 10,100 new jobs, or 1.2%, the state Department of Workforce Development reported Wednesday.
