Airlines Airtran Will Resume Nonstop D.C. Service Year-Round Instead of Seasonal Flights to Be Announced

AirTran Airways will again fly from Milwaukee to Washington, D.C., but this time the nonstop service will be year-round, the airline is announcing Tuesday.

AirTran will offer two nonstop flights a day from Mitchell International Airport to Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport starting June 11. Oak Creek-based Midwest Airlines Inc. is the only carrier that currently flies nonstop service from Milwaukee.
