Summary


The choice in Milwaukee's 15th Aldermanic District should be easy for those interested in good government and represent- ation. Willie Hines has done a solid job as both an alderman and Common Council president and deserves re-election.

His opponent, E. Dante Banks, an educator and former aide to Ald. Michael McGee, declined an interview with the Journal Sentinel Editorial Board and a request to complete a candidate questionnaire. He said in an e-mail that he was not interested in the paper's endorsement. But based purely on Hines' accomplishments, our decision to give him the nod was a snap.
