Arbitrator Sides with Webb's Former President Must Pay Over $175,000 to Businessman

A court-appointed arbitrator has ruled against the ousted former president of the George Webb restaurant chain.

Jayne M. Aliota, a Webb manager who bought the company in 2005, was fired last year by Phil Anderson, a Whitefish Bay businessman who provided $500,000 toward Aliota's down payment for the business. Aliota sued Anderson in Milwaukee County Circuit Court in November, challenging his authority to fire her and demanding reinstatement and back pay.
