As nice as it was to be on the receiving end of a gift-wrapped victory Saturday night, courtesy of the Houston Astros, it was just as painful to be on the giving end Sunday afternoon.

The Milwaukee Brewers learned that the base on balls can be a fickle friend, especially when your opponent is future Hall of Famer Roger Clemens. Doug Davis' early control problems Sunday led to three Astros runs and with Clemens on the mound, that was the gold standard as the Astros held on for a 3-1 victory before a crowd of 41,222, the 13th Miller Park sellout of the season.
