Former School Athletics Leader Accused of Theft; He Took $53,000, Complaint Says

Waukesha The former commissioner for two area high school athletic conferences was accused Thursday of stealing more than $53,000 from the associations.

David J. Thomson was charged in Waukesha County Circuit Court with stealing $20,250 from the Woodland Athletic Conference and $33,240 from the Southeast Athletic Conference. The conferences include school districts in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine and Kenosha counties.
