People who have enjoyed "A Christmas Carol," any version from Mr. Magoo's to the Milwaukee Rep's, owe it to themselves to see "Dickens in America," the new play about Charles Dickens being staged by the Chamber Theatre.

As satisfying as enactments of "Carol" may be, Dickens' original novel is so rich in language and nuance, it is far superior. We get a taste of that in "Dickens in America," which was recently written by Spring Green actor, dramatist and novelist James DeVita.
