A sister of Terry Ratzmann said Thursday that her brother was not depressed and that his murderous rampage might have been prompted by religious strife.

"We really don't have any answers," she told Mike Jacobs of WTMJ- TV (Channel 4). "It seems to be all connected with his religion somehow. . . . All we can imagine is that the problems that were going on in that church somehow just got to him.
