Summary
THUMBS UP
Led by veteran cornerback Charles Woodson, the secondary is showing a knack for interceptions. Woodson anticipated a slant route and stepped in front of receiver Robert Ferguson to intercept Aaron Rodgers during a red-zone drill. End Aaron Kampman helped force the interception with pressure on Rodgers. The interception was Woodson's third in two days. Those kinds of plays can be contagious and to pick off a pass in the red zone is invaluable. Earlier in the day, safety Atari Bigby picked off an overthrown pass and during seven-on-seven drills, rookie safety Aaron Rouse jumped an inside route and picked off Ingle Martin on what might have wound up being a return for a touchdown. Counting Sunday night, the secondary has seven interceptions in two practices, which is either a feather in its cap or an indictment of the quarterback play.See the full content of this document
