The atmosphere has been cordial in the Racine County Clerk of Courts Office, in spite of the fact that Clerk Taraesa Wheary, a Republican, is being challenged by the second in command, Administrative Deputy Clerk RoseAnne Lee, a Democrat.

Both candidates say they have not let the campaign interfere with the work going on in the office. But, they also don't agree how the work in the office should be done and on how well it is currently being done.
