A freeway lane "crossover" has been delayed one day on account of rain, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
As a result of rain Tuesday night, the shift of northbound I-43 traffic will start Friday morning, rather than today, said Brian Manthey, spokesman for the team running the Marquette Interchange reconstruction project. The crossover will run two-way traffic in the newly rebuilt southbound lanes, starting between State St. and Highland Ave., with northbound traffic returning to its own lanes at Walnut St.See the full content of this document
