As the Racine County Board moves closer to making a decision on how to proceed with a possible $17.3 million jail expansion project, the public is getting another chance to join the debate.
A public hearing on the jail project will be held at 6 tonight at the Community Building of the Caledonia-Mount Pleasant Park, 9614 Northwestern Ave., Caledonia, at a meeting of the county Public Protection and Justice System Committee. The public discussion will immediately follow Sheriff Robert Carlson's presentation of the proposed jail project.See the full content of this document
