Brookfield About 65 elementary school teachers and a half-dozen parents attended Tuesday's meeting of the Elmbrook School Board to protest plans to bring foreign-language instruction back to Elmbrook elementary schools.
The classes in grades four through six were dropped two years ago because of budget cuts. Faced with cutting at least $1 million from next year's budget, the district seemed unlikely to reinstate the program.See the full content of this document
