There were times in the past I wished the missing-person case of Alexis Patterson had received as much attention in the national media as the still-unsolved murder of child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey.

My hope was constant media attention on the disappearance of a precious 7-year old girl in Milwaukee in 2002 might eventually loosen the lips of unknown sources with knowledge of what exactly happened that fateful day Alexis went off to school, never to be seen again.
