Review of Falls Cable Access Group Complete; Report Was Requested After Some Wanted Funds It Had Saved Returned to Village

Menomonee Falls Accountants were able to verify "substantially all" of the village's cable access group's receipts, a financial review of the Falls Cable Access Corporation concluded in a report delivered to the village Wednesday.

The review, launched last fall after Village President Jefferson Davis first suggested the cable group return the funds it had saved since its 1991 inception, examined the corporation's receipts and disbursements between its launch and Oct. 31, 2004. The report will be distributed to village trustees Friday and will be discussed during a committee meeting Monday night, Village Manager Richard Farrenkopf said.
