In 1995, Troy Aikman, Barry Sanders, Emmitt Smith, Deion Sanders, Steve Young, John Elway, Derrick Thomas, Jerry Rice, Dan Marino and Cris Carter were all going strong.

It really wasn't much of a contest though, not after Favre threw for 38 touchdowns third-most in league history at that time behind Marino's totals of 48 and 44 and established himself as one of the toughest players in the game with a five-touchdown performance against Chicago a week after suffering sprained ligaments in his ankle.
