65 Films with State Ties to Be Screened in Madison

Summary


The Wisconsin Film Festival, set for March 31 through April 3 in Madison, is to show 151 films from 27 countries and feature 65 films with state ties, including the regional premiere of Madison native Ben Wolfinsohn's "High School Record."

The opening-night film is a restored version of Samuel Fuller's World War II film "The Big Red One," presented by Richard Schickel, film critic for Time magazine, a Wauwatosa native and University of Wisconsin-Madison alum.
