St. Louis Bill Self and Matt Doherty recruited just about all the major players who took part in the national championship game between the Illinois Fighting Illini and the North Carolina Tar Heels on Monday night at the Edward Jones Dome.

And even though they're no longer associated with those schools, both have expressed happiness that their former charges were able to play on the NCAA's biggest stage.
