Chicago It's not the flashiest fish at the Shedd Aquarium that award might go to the French grunt, the Congo River puffer or the Madagascar rainbow but the new bighead carp exhibit is still expected to be a hit with the nearly 2 million who visit yearly.

"To me, these are the most important fish here today," senior aquarist Kurt Hettiger said at the opening of the Great Lakes Invasive Species exhibit Thursday.
