Alma Lomeli, a senior at Milwaukee Pulaski, vividly remembers the first time she watched the movie "Bend it Like Beckham."
In the acclaimed film, the main character, Jess Bhamar, is an Indian teenager living in London. She has an unquenchable passion for soccer but her parents would strongly prefer that she spend her time doing something more traditional, such as learning to cook.
