After 52 years of marriage and more than 180 foster children, Doris and Larry Crusan are hanging up their diaper pins and retiring.

They also have five biological children, 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, but there is no line drawn between them and the foster babies they nurtured for the Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare and other agencies.
