Milwaukee District Attorney John Chisholm urged city aldermen not to cut $25,000 from the Community Partners, a program he said plays a critical role in fighting crime in city neighborhoods.

Aldermen were also asked not to trim 16%, or $200,000, from youth services in 2009 as has been proposed.
