Region Making Progress On Goals; Foundation Laid for Prosperity, but Tasks Remain, Report Says

Summary


Progress has been made toward laying the foundation for future economic prosperity in the Milwaukee region, but significant tasks remain, a report from the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce indicates.

The report, the second that measures performance against goals the business group first laid out in 2002, is part of an ongoing effort to promote a regional approach to economic development. The results will be presented at the association's all-member meeting today at the Midwest Airlines Center.
