Butler A handful of political yard signs taped to the inside of car windows has prompted the latest dispute in this tiny, yet politically fiery, village.

Last month, Village Administrator Larry Plaster ordered police officers to remove from their personal vehicles signs supporting John Ehlinger, who is challenging Village President Walter Woloszyk in Tuesday's election. The officers initially took the signs down, but after consulting with the police union's attorney and Waukesha County District Attorney Paul Bucher, some of the blue-and-white cardboard advertisements have returned.
