No One Injured in Fox Point Fire; Dozens Evacuated From Old School

Summary


Dozens of children and senior citizens were temporarily forced into the snow and cold Tuesday morning after a fire broke out at the Dunwood School building in Fox Point.

The blaze was reported by an automatic alarm system about 10:30 a.m. The building is owned by the Fox Point/Bayside School District and leased to several private educational organizations, North Shore Fire Department Battalion Chief Robert Whitaker said.
