The Internal Revenue Service on Friday increased the mileage reimbursement rate that businesses can deduct as an expense to 48.5 cents a mile.
The rate had been 40.5 cents a mile since the start of the year. The new rate will be retroactive to Sept. 1 and expire at the end of 2005.See the full content of this document
