Construction of the long-awaited Oak Leaf Trail through St. Francis is expected to begin today and end by July, when users will be able to bike, skate and run along the lakefront and away from traffic on Lake Drive.
Reconnecting the recreational path popular for biking between Bay View Park and Sheridan Park has been in the works for about three years by Milwaukee County and developers of the ParkShore condominium project, who agreed to donate money and land for the trail.See the full content of this document
