University Research Park is planning a new building for start- ups that graduate from its incubator -- another sign of Madison's growing ability to spawn high-tech companies.

The 85,000-square-foot building is one of several developments the park has in the works. Earlier this month, it leased 6,000 square feet in downtown Madison to house an urban incubator that aims to nurture student entrepreneurs and young companies in the fields of information technology, engineering, medical devices and computer science.
