Mequon Man Held in Wife's Strangulation Death

Mequon Police said Friday that a Mequon man was arrested in his wife's strangulation death, the city's first homicide in nearly five years.

Stephen L. Trattner, 43, was being held in the Ozaukee County Jail late Friday on suspicion of first-degree reckless homicide in the death of his wife, Sin Lam. The couple's two children, ages 7 and 9, were in the care of grandparents, said Mequon's acting police chief, Steve Graff.
