Grand Chute -- If you've taken Highway 41 to a Green Bay Packers game, you've probably noticed the baseball park off to the left, on the outskirts of Appleton. And you've probably said to yourself, "One day I'm actually going to stop."

Now the motivation is there, beyond the fact that Fox Cities Stadium has been one of the Midwest League's better venues since its construction in 1995. It's now the home of the Milwaukee Brewers' low-Class A affiliate, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, and if you were here on a night like Tuesday, when the wind was blowing in from the busy four-lane just beyond the right-field wall, you would be able to say one day that you saw a Brett Lawrie or a Cutter Dykstra or an Evan Frederickson before they were a big deal.
