First-year data from the NCAA's new Graduation Success Rate show the UW-Milwaukee's men's basketball program had a 28% graduation rate for classes starting from 1995-'98.

The GSR is a new measurement tool designed to provide a more accurate picture of school graduation rates. The GSR was developed in response to criticism to the way the federal graduation rate was calculated.
