Nebraska beat top-ranked Oklahoma that year and went on to tie for the Big Eight Conference title. The Cornhuskers would love to repeat that scenario this year in the Big 12, though few outside of Lincoln expect Nebraska to shock the world. USC won, 28-10, last year at home.
