Hate him for being a sometime jerk, an occasional poor sport and an alleged cheater, but never underestimate the talents of New England coach Bill Belichick. A year after being stripped of a first- round pick for the "Spygate" incident, he showed again that he doesn't need first-round picks to succeed. He correctly noted that the difference between first- and second-round talent wasn't that great this year and preceded to trade out of the first round (No. 26) and get a second and two third-round selections from Green Bay. That trade gave him four selections in the second round and he took in order: safety Patrick Chung, defensive lineman Ron Brace, cornerback Darius Butler and tackle Sebastian Vollmer. He now has a corps of young players he can start to integrate into the system to replace departed veterans Mike Vrabel, Rodney Harrison and Asante Samuel.
