Nellie Y. McKay, a University of Wisconsin-Madison professor who introduced African-American literature to college students around the world, has died, a university official announced Monday.
McKay, 59, who co-edited "The Norton Anthology of African American Literature" with Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr., died Sunday of liver cancer, a news release from the university said.See the full content of this document
