Summary


Bernice Siekierski never really gave up singing, but, after she got married, her audience changed.

As a young woman, she sang at venues all over town. She was a teenager when she sang with Heinie and the Grenadiers on WTMJ radio. In 1941 she was only 16 she performed as a soloist with the Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra, including at the Milwaukee Auditorium. She sang with the Milwaukee City Opera at the Pabst Theater.

She sang and played the cello with the Milwaukee Catholic Symphony. Later, as an Allen-Bradley employee, her soprano voice joined the Allen-Bradley Orchestra and Chorus.
