In the APT production, the heiress Portia, played by Colleen Madden, and Antonio, portrayed by James DeVita, are the final two characters on stage. Portia turns to Antonio to beckon him into the celebration of all this good news, but the expressions on their faces do not reveal the elation we might expect.
