Madison -- Wisconsin citizens made good use of their right to free speech Wednesday at the state capitol. The outdoor terrace featured a boisterous tea party. And in room 411 under the dome, a standing room-only crowd gathered to express views on something even more important to some than taxes - the state's deer management policies.

The occasion was a joint hearing of the Senate Natural Resources and Assembly Fish and Wildlife committees. In one of several meetings held around the state, chairs Sen. Jim Holperin and Rep. Ann Hraychuck collected input on the status of deer management in our fair state.
