Village of Pewaukee -- Several trustees who a citizen says were discussing village business in a hallway after a Plan Commission meeting did not violate the state's open meetings law, Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Schimel says.

Schimel made his determination after reviewing the village Police Department's reports and the statements officers obtained from trustees, Village President Chuck Nichols and others while investigating a complaint Gordon C. Merz made about a possible illegal meeting in the aftermath of the April 10 Plan Commission meeting.
