On the eve of a multiweek federal trial over the beating of Frank Jude Jr. at a Milwaukee police officer's house party in 2004, a fourth fired officer pleaded guilty Friday to violating Jude's civil rights.

Ryan Lemke's maximum possible sentence will be capped at one year under the plea agreement, in which he admitted "grabbing and laying across Jude's legs" and "delivering two kicks to Jude's thighs" alongside other off-duty officers physically confronting Jude over what they claimed was a missing police badge.
