A 40-year-old man from Round Lake, Ill., was arrested March 2 on allegations of 72 counts of possession of child pornography, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia at the Americ-Inn, 205 Browns Lake Drive. Police were called to the motel when the man wouldn't leave after checkout time. The suspect was found with 27 CDs holding 29,947 pornographic photos of girls, some appearing as young as 8. The man, who said he thought he might have downloaded the photos from Internet sites, was visiting his sister for his birthday.
