Of the county's 12 school districts, only Racine Unified will have a primary election in February, according to the results of candidate filings last week.

Seven candidates, none of whom are elected incumbents, will compete for three seats on the nine-person board. Melvin Hargrove, a pastor appointed to fill the spot vacated by Randy Bangs, will try to retain the board seat he has held since last month.
