New Berlin There will be no referendum on four New Berlin School Board members after a petition drive to force a recall election failed Tuesday.

The recall group, New Berlin United for Strong Schools, did not deliver its recall petitions to the district office by Tuesday's 5 p.m. deadline. Gerianne Prom, one of the group's organizers, said organizers fell "a couple hundred" signatures short of the 5,527 needed to force a recall election on Jennifer Eitel, Matt Weiss, Tim Cramer and Donna Rathsack.
