The state-run Bureau of Milwaukee Child Welfare was notified about the April 2008 death of 2-month-old Brianna Buchanan- Prescott, according to an investigative report, but state officials in charge of protecting Milwaukee children have thus far refused discuss what services, if any, the agency provided to her mother or to her family.
Brianna was found dead after sleeping with her mother, Rose Prescott. Sunday, less than a year later, Prescott found her 6-day- old daughter, Ceianna Buchanan, dead on her living room couch.See the full content of this document
