Summary


Music, all art really, is energy channeled into creative expression, which would seem to make the French film "Les Choristes," or "The Chorus," a waste of considerable energy.

This fictional homage to "the teacher who changed my life" and portrait of how music can "soothe the savage breast," never shows those proverbs to be anything more than the clichs they can represent.
