Eagle Horseback riders in the Kettle Moraine State Forest Southern Unit this spring have one of the longest trail systems in the state, thanks to the $750,000 purchase of a former pasture that links two bridle paths.
Paul Sandgren, forest superintendent, said the linked northern and southern trails will give riders nearly 60 miles of groomed paths through hardwood forests, savannas and pine plantations in three counties Waukesha, Walworth and Jefferson.See the full content of this document
